Data Verification Workflow

Outlining the processes and steps that ensure data accuracy and consistency across the Cricket API suite. To maintain up-to-date, reliable data for tournaments, matches, associations, and other endpoints through systematic verification.

Match Verification

Verification is done at multiple time intervals: Today's Scheduled Matches:
Validate match details at the start of the day using MG100 & MG101.
Next Day (First Half):
Verify match details between 3 PM – 5 PM.
Next Day (Second Half):
Verify match details between 5 PM – 8 PM.
Day After Next:
Verify match details between 8 PM – 10 PM.
Next 5 Days (Including Today):
Continuous verification from 8 AM to 4 PM using MG100 & MG101.

Verification Checks for Tournaments and Matches

  1. Match Format: Confirm consistency and report any changes.
  2. Match Time: Verify scheduled timings.
  3. Venue: Confirm venue details are updated.
  4. Teams and Squads: Ensure both teams and their respective squads are current.

  1. TV Local Channel Live Relay
  2. ICC (for international tournaments)
  3. CricBuzz / Fancode Live
  4. Fancode / ESPNCricInfo

Additional Protocols

Schedule Checking Protocol (Cricket, Football, Kabaddi): Schedule Checking Protocol (Cricket, Football, Kabaddi): Frequency: Every 5 days. Checks:
  1. Confirm match format and time.
  2. Verify venue details.
  3. Ensure team names and squad updates.
  4. Confirm no matches are missed.
  5. Update the respective data sheets.

Season Roll Checking Protocol (Current Day & Next 2 Days): Checks:
  1. Confirm match format and time.
  2. Verify venue updates.
  3. Ensure team names and squad updates.
  4. Validate player roles and batting styles.
